An excellent and interesting short crossover, but it will make a lot more sense if you have seen Assignment Three of Sapphire & Steel. (So also has some mild spoilers for that story.) But I like the meeting and the way it works, because the two universes aren’t as easy to mesh as they seem on appearances.

Hugely enjoyable and well written short crossover, even for someone like me who’s never read the books.

A brief encounter on a train that is perfectly, perfectly in character for both and rather lovely, playing on the fact that Tallulah and Jo were both played by Miranda Raison.

Sarah Jane meets an undercover spook in the 80s.

I’m not especially familiar with the novels or TV version, but I didn’t have to be to enjoy a very entertaining ficlet. Somehow there’s always something about a TV detective finding he’s got the Doctor to contend with that never grows old…

It’s an odd combination, but it works, and the use of Drusilla’s POV gives us the Doctor and his travels in a new light. Beautiful, and clever, and sinister.

A dark and Doctor-less UNIT AU crossover, which is very well-written and not without hope. It’s also an especially good Harry story – well-characterised, and not an imbecile.

A lovely bit of fun in which the two teams meet in a library, and there is world-threatening danger and the Doctor and Daniel bonding over bow ties, books and the promise of a visit to yet another library.

Short vignette, but wry, in character and very readable. You just know this one isn’t going to be straightforward…

Best just to use the author’s summary: A Doctor and a Pencey Place dropout walk into a bar- Eleven meets an sarcastic sixteen-year-old with a very important question.

Again, I’m not familiar with Sandman, but this reads as well done and interesting (love the ending with Donna.)
