Thanks to ghost2, who found the crossover with Martha in for me. And, lo, here it is:

Alone in a Godless Universe (And Out of Shake’n’Vac) by Doyle
All Ages / Teen (Ish. Again, just for being Red Dwarf).
Word Count: 2405
Characters: Martha Jones, Dave Lister, Arnold Rimmer, Holly, the Cat, Tenth Doctor.

Basically, you remember that Lister was left pregnant with twins at the end of S2? Well, this is absolutely what happened next, although Martha can’t get the Doctor to believe it. Very, very funny.

All Creatures Great and Small March 29, 2009

Who’d have thought an old 1970s/1980s BBC drama about some vetswould have more than one crossover with Doctor Who? Hmm, could it be something to do with Peter Davison?

‘but brave’ by LilacFree
All Ages
Word Count: 361
Characters: Tegan Jovanka, Tristan Farnon

A short and funny case of mistaken identity…

All Time Lords Great and Small by AussieDalek
All Ages
Word Count: 326
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Donna Noble, Tristan Farnon.

And, what do you know? It’s another short and just as funny case of mistaken identity.

Only the one for the moment, but it’s a stunningly good crossover, so that’ll do:

Just Impediment by Doyle
All Ages
Word Count: 4961
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Edmund Blackadder, Baldrick, Percy, Queen Elizabeth I.

This is just about as perfect as comedy crossovers get. Go read, even if you don’t know Blackadder. The Tenth Doctor has to enlist the help of one Edmund Blackadder to stop a marriage. Much sarcasm and hilarity ensues.

And Now For Something Completely Different…

Just for an example, and in order to show how completely random this random fic category will be, if I feel so moved. And, moreover, because this made me laugh so much last night, I need to share it with the world:

A humorous Lord of the Rings AU:

Rivendell International Airport by Primsong
All Ages
Word Count: 5667
Characters: Frodo, Sam, Pippin, Merry, Boromir, Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas,

We all know what the pass is like at this time of the year, so the fellowship decide to travel by plane to Gondor. Going by the security issues this provokes, they probably should have taken Aragorn’s advice and gone by train… I defy someone to read this and not at least smile. Plus, Primsong is one of my favourite fanfic authors, but hasn’t done many crossovers (yet), so I want to sneak a rec in here somehow.

Red Dwarf

British sf shows should stick together, don’t you think? Some talented ficcers certainly do…

Last of Your Species Support Group by Amy_Wolf
All Ages
Word Count: 2007
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Martha Jones, Cassandra, Scaroth, Davros, Daleks, Empress of Racnoss, Sutekh, Dave Lister, Arnold Rimmer.

A thoroughly entertaining cross with a twist. Let’s just say that the Doctor’s not popular with the other members of this support group. Plus points, of course, for Rimmer meeting another version of himself (one we’ve encountered previously, but he hasn’t).

First Contact by JJPOR
Word Count: 2242
Characters: Seventh Doctor, Ace, Holly, Dave Lister, Arnold Rimmer, Cat, Kryten.

Rimmer finally gets to meet an alien and Lister gets to meet another human (albeit one who likes blowing things up a lot). Excellent, fully in keeping with both shows and very funny.

Light Years by idontlikegravy
All Ages / Teen (only ish for a line or two. It is Red Dwarf, after all).
Word Count: 5048
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Holly, Arnold Rimmer, David Lister, Kryten, Cat.

I’ve only just now found this and it’s lovely. I think it might even be my favourite. The Doctor’s thrown 3 million light years off course, messing up Lister’s poker night. Which means that Rimmer gets to meet an alien and Holly needs repairing with washing-up liquid. (And I love any good use of Holly.)

Incompatible by Daibhid Ceannaideach
All Ages
Word Count: Double Drabble
Characters: Fourth Doctor, K9, Skutter

K9’s in love with a skutter, but it’ll never work out.

(Posted on alt.drwho.creative).

And if anyone knows which fic it is features Martha getting accidentally transported to Red Dwarf to give medical aid, I’ll add that as well.

P. G. Wodehouse

Two Jeeves and Wooster stories, one with an interesting twist and one Blandings tale (that one’s my own attempt, so no comments there).

Jeeves and Wooster
Fetch the Doctor, Jeeves! by idontlikegravy
All Ages
Word Count: 2329
Characters: Bertie Wooster, Jeeves, Fifth Doctor

This one’s a lovely, short, summery tale of the Fifth Doctor meeting Bertie Wooster and Jeeves.  Before you know it, there’s complications and a situation that requires Bertie to purloin an artefact from his Aunt Dahlia.

What Ho, You Dalek Chaps! by JJPOR
All Ages
Word Count: 3683
Characters: Bertie Wooster/The Doctor, Jeeves, Romana, Daleks.

A bit of an oddity among crossovers, in that the Doctor seems to have regenerated into Wooster. But he still needs Jeeves to sort out the intergalactic crises and the fact it’s by this author should be all that’s needed to recommend it.

A Gallifreyan at Blandings by vvj5. (That’s me. Sorry.)
All Ages
Word Count: 9755
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Galahad Threepwood, Lord Emsworth, the Empress of Blandings, Lady Constance Keeble.

While having been determined not to do the foolhardy thing of attempting a Wodehouse crossover, I gave in. The Tenth Doctor is searching for an alien artefact while posing as Lord Emsworth’s latest secretary and causing trouble, as all secretaries do.
