Doctor Who fanfiction crossovers recs & more

British Comedy: Hancock’s Half Hour & The Two Ronnies July 11, 2009

Well, I was trying for an X-Files post today, but I ended up with this motley collection of unlikely comedy crossovers. What can I say? I’m strange that way.

The Two Ronnies

Title: Bric a Brac
Author: vvj5
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 1403
Characters: Ninth Doctor, Nyder, Ronnie Barker, Ronnie Corbett

The Ninth Doctor pops into a handy hardware store in search of a sonic screwdriver and gets more than he bargained for.

Title: Close to the Wind
Author: johne
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: Drabble
Characters: Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler.

1899: The Doctor and Rose encounter the Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town.

Hancock’s Half Hour

Title: Doctor Hancock’s Half Hour
Author: The Secretive Bus
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 3305
Characters: The Doctor (Tony Hancock), Sid James, Bill Kerr, Hattie Jacques, Kenneth Williams.

Not so much a crossover as a ‘What if Doctor Who had started in the 1950s starring Tony Hancock?’ Ish. Really. It’s insane and marvellous.
