Two Jeeves and Wooster stories, one with an interesting twist and one Blandings tale (that one’s my own attempt, so no comments there).
This one’s a lovely, short, summery tale of the Fifth Doctor meeting Bertie Wooster and Jeeves. Before you know it, there’s complications and a situation that requires Bertie to purloin an artefact from his Aunt Dahlia.
A bit of an oddity among crossovers, in that the Doctor seems to have regenerated into Wooster. But he still needs Jeeves to sort out the intergalactic crises and the fact it’s by this author should be all that’s needed to recommend it.
A Gallifreyan at Blandings by vvj5. (That’s me. Sorry.)
Word Count: 9755
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Galahad Threepwood, Lord Emsworth, the Empress of Blandings, Lady Constance Keeble.
While having been determined not to do the foolhardy thing of attempting a Wodehouse crossover, I gave in. The Tenth Doctor is searching for an alien artefact while posing as Lord Emsworth’s latest secretary and causing trouble, as all secretaries do.
