This is great! It’s too short to say more; go read it and grin!

Title: One Too Many
Author: AstroGirl
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 1755
Characters: The Master (Simm), John Crichton

The Master meets a very annoying man in a bar (or John Crichton meets a very weird guy in a bar). Very enteraining (even for someone who doesn’t know the crossover.)

Title: Does The Doctor Know Where His Towel Is

An extract from the guide on the subject of Time Lord, towels and the Doctor, and just as amusing as something like that ought to be. Excellent!

Again, a show I don’t really know, but I hereby present crosses by two very good authors:

Title: Fire Escape
Author: Pitry
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 4404
Characters: Tenth Doctor, Chiana, John Crichton, Ka D’Argo

Title: Travel Light
Author: AstroGirl
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 14,259
Characters: Seventh Doctor, Ace

Stargate (SG1) November 25, 2009

Title: Never A Dull Moment
Author: AstroGirl
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2085
Characters: Romana II, Daniel Jackson, Fourth Doctor, Jack O’Neill

I don’t watch Stargate and I just loved this. It’s sweet and funny with lots of cliches of the shows being exploited, Romana being both terribly clever and enjoyable company and the Doctor and O’Neill run around in amusing ways while hairy aliens attack and things blow up. What more could anyone ask for?

Title: A Dubious Ally
Author: Kerr Avonson
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2333
Characters: Fifth Doctor, Jack O’Neill, Nyssa

Okay, are there any bad, incomprehensible Stargate crosses? This is great with the Doctor getting tangled in Jack’s world and it being pretty much business as usual for the Time Lord. With a very entertainig ending. Lovely! (There’s a double drabble of a sequel here, too.)

Title: More Things in Heaven and Earth
Author: AstroGirl
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2143
Characters: Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Larry Fleinhardt

I have absolutely no idea about the crossover show here, but this is just a gorgeous bit of fic, full stop. There’s a lot in a few words and it still even manages to be funny in the right places.

Star Trek: TOS & TNG October 14, 2009

Title: A Stranger in the City
Author: AstroGirl
Rating: PG (for some swearing)
Word Count: 5889
Characters: Jack Harkness, Mr Spock, James T Kirk, Leonard McCoy

In New York in 1930s, some time travellers encounter each other. Again, even for someone reasonably ignorant like me, this is great.

Title: Awakening
Author: HonorH
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 449
Characters: Ninth Doctor, Deanna Troi, Jean-Luc Picard, Will Riker, Worf, Beverly Crusher, Geordi LaForge

The crew discover the Doctor to be more of an anomaly than they expected.

Title: In Passing
Author: HonorH
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 586
Characters: Jack Harkness, Wesley Crusher, Beverly Crusher

A fun little piece. With flirting, because, after all, it involves Jack.
