Title: A Jaffa, an archaeoogist and two Air Force officers walk into a library
Author: aces
Rating: All ages.
Word Count: 1289
Characters: Eleventh Doctor, Amy Pond, Rory Williams, Daniel Jackson, Jack O’Neill, Teal’c, Sam Carter

A lovely bit of fun in which the two teams meet in a library, and there is world-threatening danger and the Doctor and Daniel bonding over bow ties, books and the promise of a visit to yet another library.

Highly entertaining multi-era fic in which the team encounter all of the Doctors without ever realising it’s the same person.

Title: Five Times the Doctor Got in the Way of Captain Janeway (and One Time They Got Along Just Fine)
Author: vvj5
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 5526
Characters: Eleventh Doctor, First Doctor, Vicki, Third Doctor, Jo Grant, Ninth Doctor, Eighth Doctor, Charley Pollard, Kathryn Janeway, Chakotay, Tom Paris, Tuvok

A case of multi-era nonsense by me in which the Doctor and Janeway keep running into each other in the wrong order, so I’ll say no more.

Tomb Raider / Lara Croft October 3, 2010

Title: Disposable
Author: Adrian Tullberg
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 1114
Characters: Third Doctor, Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart, Jo Grant, Sergeant Benton, Mike Yates, The Master (Delgado)

Good use of a crossover, with an explanation for Lara Croft on the one hand, and a properly sinister plan for the Master on the other.

Red Dwarf September 24, 2010

Title: An Infinite Number of Roads to Dallas
Author: EllieLaBelle
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1937
Characters: Ninth Doctor, Rose Tyler, Dave Lister, Arnold Rimmer, Cat, Kryten

The Doctor was said to be at Dallas in 1963. So were quite a number of other time travellers, including a certain gang who were only in search of a decent curry. This is brilliant, from the Hitch-Hiker-esque intro on time travel, the nods to other time travellers who were also hanging around, the Doctor’s reaction to the Dwarfers’ current plan and the ending. Another example of a fanfic author making excellent use of a throwaway line from an episode.

Title: Smokin’ Kippers

It has Ten, Donna and Ace Rimmer in it. It’s brilliant. Go read.

There’s only one thing Kryten wants from the Doctor.

Title: Ego Clash
Author: vvj5
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 567
Characters: Third Doctor, Jo Grant, Hercule Poirot

It’s time for the denouement and Poirot takes centre stage, the identity of the murderer to be unveiled… and then someone steals the limelight and insults his moustache. Incroyable!

Title: Nul Points
Author: Gary Merchant
Rating: All Ages
Word Count: 2766
Characters: Third Doctor, Jo Grant

This isn’t strictly a crossover. In fact, being set at in specific space and time, maybe it should be historical. But the Doctor investigates fixed voting at the Eurovision Song Contest (while approving of Terry Wogan’s commentary) feels like a crossover to me. And it’s marvellous fun.

Anita Blake

Title: I Don’t Need A Doctor
Author: Waterfall
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1432 (Drabble series)
Characters: Doctors One to Ten, Anita Blake

An interesting and amusing series of drabbles, one for each Doctor encountering Anita. Again, I don’t know the cross, but still enjoyed the ride.

Title: Doctor and the Dead
Author: Mhalachi
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2028
Characters: Fourth Doctor, Ninth Doctor, Anita Blake

Having read the above fic first, the tagline made me smile (The Doctor has met Anita Blake before. Ten times, okay…) A more conventional approach and very well done also.
